Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has informed that the State government is preparing a vision document required for 2047 to set the direction for the development of Telangana.

Speaking to the media at Secretariat here on Friday, the Deputy Chief Minister said the vision document was being prepared aimed at making the Telangana State at the top in all sectors and the Congress government was seriously working on this direction.

He stated that the State government has already digitized 1. 28 crore applications taken from the people during the Gram Sabhas in villages for a week through Prajapalana programme and the information has been utilised to select beneficiaries for the Gruha Jyothi and other schemes.

He said the prajavani applications, which are held twice a week in Praja Bhavan, are being monitored by sending them to various departments.

The Deputy Chief Minister further informed that the State government is conducting caste census survey aimed at providing equal opportunities to all the people of the State.
